Les Caillerets is a tiny, one-hectare (2.5 acre) Premier Cru-rated vineyard within the commune boundaries of Meursault. It is essentially a part of the much larger Les Caillerets climat of the Volnay appellation, but this small corner is planted to both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir: it is one of the only Meursault vineyards to produce a red wine under the Meursault title.
With its pale gold color, it exudes aromas of ripe orchard fruits, toasted nuts, and a hint of buttery vanilla. On the palate, it showcases a perfect balance of acidity and creaminess, with a long, elegant finish.
