Nero Sanloré starts life in the San Lorenzo vineyard, planted at an altitude of 700 metres. Here the vines sink their roots into clay and sandy soils, and come under the sea’s influence which we later discern on tasting the wine. Its bouquet is complex and emanates from the special characteristics of the terroir with its aromas of iodine, which are followed by others of cherry, plum, aromatic herbs, tobacco and chocolate. On the palate it’s a warm, flavoursome wine with smooth, vigorous tannins.
